At Mothercraft, we are dedicated to providing exceptional child care and early learning experiences that promote healthy development for all families. Our five Centres for Early Development (CEDs) - located in Brookfield Place, Eaton Centre, Robertson House, Midtown, and Avondale - embody this commitment, offering enriching full-day programs for children aged 3 months to 6 years. The Facilities Department, part of the Corporate Services Division, is responsible for the physical environment and operations of Mothercraft buildings to ensure they are functional, safe, and efficient. Its core function is to support the occupants and the primary business or mission of the organization by maintaining a comfortable, productive, and safe environment.

As an RECE or ECA, you will...

• Provide care for the physical and emotional needs of children
• Develop and encourage positive and secure relationships
• Assist with program planning and implementation to promote stimulation in children’s development, as needed
• Support housekeeping responsibilities, as required 

You will be set up for success if you have… 

• Early Childhood Education Diploma and be registered with the College of Early Childhood Education (for RECE candidates)
• An ability to work with children of varying ages (3 months to 6 years old)
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
• Immunizations and health assessment in compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act
• Standard First Aid & CPR C Certificate
